Are you getting relentless calls from scammer? If so, don’t despair. There is a solution!
Just change my phone number? NO! It doesn’t work to rush out and change your phone number. The phone companies sell out your information. Just look at the terms of service with your phone carrier and you will see that they have the right to sell your information.
Sign up for the Do Not Call registry? NO! If you want MORE calls, just sign up for the DNC. The DNC publishes a list of numbers to not call. Scammers use this information to call you! If you have already done this, just let it go. Since you are supposed to renew your DNC entry annually, if you let it go your number will fall off the list naturally.
What is the solution?
I recently tried an app called “YouMail”. Similar to Nomorobo, it will trap robocalls, possibly waste time of scammers, but best of all will stop robocalls from reaching you directly.
FREE!!! The best part about this service is that it is FREE!!! Seriously, who doesn’t like FREE, especially if it works!
See why YouMail is clearly the better option for blocking scammers and robocalls: https://www.youmail.com/home/competitor/youmail-vs-nomorobo
Now, there are some additional services at-cost, but it appears that this is a good choice for people simply looking for an app that will block most of the robocalls, and just like Nomorobo you can block unknown, restricted, and blocked calls and also report scammer numbers so that others are not affected by the scammer’s activities.
In my testing it does amazing text-to-speech where the message I left was delivered via SMS, Email and also through the app. Setting up the app was also easy.
Although it might sound like it, I am not a spokesperson for YouMail.
You can download it through your cellphone’s app store, and here are some interesting resources to check out:
